Mr & Mrs Mahi Box Office Prediction: Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer to open in Rs. 5-6 crores range

This Friday sees the release of multiple films. The one that will take the biggest opening of them all is Mr. & Mrs. Mahi which sees Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor coming together again after Roohi. While Rajkummar already has Srikanth currently playing in theatres, Janhvi was last seen on OTT release Bawaal which released in 2023. Prior to that Mili hadn’t worked, though her horror comedy Roohi had done reasonable business despite arriving during pandemic.

Now, Rajkummar would be looking at his good run to continue from Srikanth to Mr. & Mrs. Mahi while Janhvi too would be aiming for a good theatrical success, what with her Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl director Sharan Sharma calling the shots. The film has been promoted well by Dharma Productions and ZEE Studios and the actors too have been making quite a few city appearances to bring themselves closer to the audiences. Catering primarily to the multiplex audiences, the film is seeing a decent release this Friday.

What will aid the film further is Rs. 99 offer in theatres due to Cinema Lovers Day that has been announced for this Friday. The indications are already there of a good enough opening, what with more than 50,000 tickets already sold in advance and 1 lakh mark set to be breached. This kind of trending is possible only when there is genuine interest amongst the audiences and that’s what will ensure that the first day numbers turn out to be in Rs. 5-6 crores range. For a mid-budget film like this, these would be good numbers indeed to set the base and from there audience word of mouth will take over.
